This year's festival is calling on photographers to make connections with the outside, exploring the structure of groups, the viral nature of the idea and the formation of grassroots culture. The aim is to explore social systems and political structures to see how photography can be used as an active social medium to change our environment.

Through connections we can offer the most fertile ground for exchange and mutation, linking diverse people and places together to form a whole.
